Candor Electric Celebrates James DiFiore’s Graduation from National Project Management Apprenticeship

April 14, 2026

Candor Electric proudly recognizes and congratulates James (Jim) DiFiore on his recent graduation from the prestigious NECA/ELECTRI Project Management Apprenticeship program—a year-long, U.S. Department of Labor–registered apprenticeship designed to develop the next generation of leaders in the electrical construction industry.

Jim’s achievement reflects both his personal commitment to professional growth and Candor Electric’s ongoing investment in developing top-tier talent within the organization.

The NECA/ELECTRI Project Management Apprenticeship is a nationally recognized program created by the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and ELECTRI International. Over the course of 52 weeks, participants engage in a rigorous blend of structured education and hands-on, real-world experience. The program integrates technical instruction, on-the-job learning, and mentorship to build essential skills in project planning, financial management, documentation, safety, and team leadership.

As a Department of Labor–registered apprenticeship, the program follows a proven national training model that combines classroom learning with practical application, ensuring graduates are equipped to successfully manage complex electrical construction projects from start to finish.

Throughout the program, apprentices like Jim develop not only technical expertise but also the leadership and business acumen required to thrive in today’s evolving construction environment. The curriculum emphasizes communication, time management, and strategic thinking—skills that directly translate to improved project outcomes and stronger team performance.

Jim’s journey through the program has been marked by significant professional growth. His mentor, Marty Rogers, noted that Jim “evolved to operate with confidence,” highlighting the transformation he demonstrated over the course of the year.

His coach, Monselete Bowden, also recognized his development, stating, “James DiFiore has shown remarkable growth this year, moving from a tentative start to confidently owning his role, taking on greater responsibility and clearly identifying and leaning into his professional strengths.”

Jim’s successful completion of this program demonstrates his dedication to excellence and positions him to take on increasing responsibilities within Candor Electric. His accomplishment also highlights the company’s commitment to fostering continuous learning and building a strong pipeline of skilled project management professionals.

“Jim’s graduation is a testament to his hard work and determination,” said Vince DiFiore, President of Candor Electric. “We are incredibly proud of his achievement and excited to see the impact he will continue to make on our projects and our team.”

Candor Electric remains committed to supporting workforce development initiatives like the NECA/ELECTRI apprenticeship, recognizing that investing in people is key to delivering exceptional results for clients and advancing the electrical construction industry as a whole.

Please join us in congratulating Jim DiFiore on this outstanding accomplishment.
